The History of Life in 50 Seconds Flat

Okay, I need some serious cheering up. Maybe you do, too. Ian, one of my Seattle pals, emailed this link to me. It combines nearly everything I enjoy (in this case; evolution, beer, animals and humor, but alas, no birds, though) into one cute video.

Mmmmmm....beeeeer. No sound for me, as linux support of quicktime is still a little flaky, especially with a 64-bit OS. My best advice for dealing with the crushing weight of the world is to read the Desiderata by Max Ehrmann. Just remember, this too shall pass. I must also remind you, though I'm sure it is completely unnecessary, that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire comes out in just over a week! Think of the wonderful distractability! If you're still worried about being able to afford a ticket, I'm sure your diligent readers would be willing to chip in to make sure it happens.
