I'm 56% masculine, 53% feminine.
However, I think a lot of the questions oversimplify gender roles, even when you look at stereotypes.
I scored 66 masculinity and 50 feminity. It seemed as if you would have to answer the questions in a way that made you look like a weak-willed, shy, flower in order to score higher on the feminine side. That doesn't seem like a very up to date stereotype.
I'm very shy and mild-mannered and I still wasn't strongly feminine. I got "Undifferentiated" with a 30 masculinity and 43 femininity. They actually gave me a Richard Simmons photo (giggle) and said "You scored low on both masculinity and femininity. Your personality includes characteristics of both traditional sex roles, but your gender is not strongly defined."
I knew I was born the wrong gender!!
You scored 86 masculinity and 53 femininity!
My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:
You scored higher than 92% on masculinity
You scored higher than 17% on femininity
I was somewhat gratified to score 60-60, which means we are almost twins.
Maybe incessant blogging makes one androgynous.
On my lunch hour, I scored a 53 onmasculinity and a 43 on femininity and got a photo of Leave It To Beaver's dad whom I do not view as masculine---more androgynous!
Alon and ScienceWoman; i agree with you regarding the questions. i went through the test again and answered everything opposite of how i answered it earlier and ended up with a profile that said i was more feminine than 99% of the population. i also ended up with a 1950s style cartoon of a woman stirring something in a bowl with a big smile on her face.
T. Beth; a richard simmons picture, now that is funny.
Joseph; hey, it's good to see you here, oh long lost twin!
Dawn; did you grow up with lots of brothers?
Tabor; i can't help it, i have to ask you; do you think your score will change as your nutritional status changes?
