This Poll is a No-Brainer
This live MSNBC poll shows that 94% out of 42641 responders think that bush and company mislead the American people regarding his desire to bomb the shit out of Iraq. Dare anyone utter the phrase I am thinking, dare you, dare you?
IMPEACH THE BASTARDS
If Congress thought they were doing their duty by impeaching Clinton for lying about that cigar even though no one died as a result, then why are they hesitating about impeaching bush and cronies for lying about a war that resulted in wholesale slaughter and maimings of many thousands of innocent people?

Right on, Hedwig! Impeach the bastards! I love the way it sounds. Yes, how did Clinton get impeached for lying about sex, when these tyrants probably won't even be subjected to a hearing? How does that happen?
The current Republican rationale for their impeachment proceedings was that Prez. Clinton had "lied under oath!" I have cynically noticed that Bush has avoided testifying under oath since he took [sic!] the office.

Well, RD, as "they" say, rethuglicans resent democrats because rethuglicans can only talk about sex, whereas dems actually do it. HORRORS! Imagine that!
Anonymous; What was the oath that bush seemed to repeat when he took [sic!] office? Was it something about "faithfully execut[ing] the office of President of the United States, and [..] to the best of [his] ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States" or some such falderall? I wonder what that oath means? Perhaps it means that the president can lie to the American people to further his own financial and political (and revenge-based?) goals? Perhaps it means that he and his cronies can use his office to make his friends richer by ripping off the American tax-payer by engaging in smarmy defense contracts and business dealings? Or perhaps it means that only rethuglicans can faithfully execute the office, regardless of who they lie to, regardless of who they make richer (or poorer), regardless of they kill or main, while dems are automatically suspect in this capacity (probably only because they lack the rethuglicans' extensive experience)?
It's too depressing to see what our country is. In fact, the only thing that I currently take pride in, freedom of speech, is also being eroded by congress at this moment. The shame of what my country is now, this country that I invested my entire life into, is enough to drive me to drink, except I don't earn enough money to make drinking my avocation!
