Snow Globe

I saw my first snowflakes yesterday morning as I walked past christmas trees and wreaths, christmas decorations and lights, on my way to the subway, shivering, fingers blue. I was greeted by several inches of snow this morning, formerly white snow that is liberally punctuated with yellow and brown stains. I guess the holidays are here again.
